Q: I have an old Gene roaster, 2007. It’s not getting hot enough any more. Can you do refurbishing? or sell the parts that would help me get roasting again? Cost?
A: We don’t do refurbishing at The Coffee Project but you can get it done for about $100 bucks by sending it to the US Importer in MA. If it’s just the heater assembly, then it will be $89.00 installed, plus shipping. There is a chance with an, ’07 model you will also need to update the CPU ($22) and temp sensor ($19). All parts replaced would carry a one year warranty.
